Background
At Super Bowl LIV in Miami, Verizon wanted to show how 5G would change football, but no fans had 5G phones.

Here, through projection mapping and augmented reality, guests were transported to a live in-stadium simulation that enabled them to experience the power of 5G Ultra Wideband firsthand.

And we developed an AR app that simulated how 5G will change football. All to let fans and NFL Pros get hands-on with how 5G will change the game.

Idea
We created the Verizon 5G Stadium: the beacon of the Super Bowl fan zone and showed NFL fans how 5G makes football fantasy a reality by transporting them to a fully immersive fan experience. After entering our 5G portal fans found themselves at the center of a custom-built 8,000 sq. ft. dome.

We showcased the future of 5G to consumers and the roof deck and interior spaces were utilized for Verizon business and media group experiences throughout Super Bowl LIV.
